Atlantic Province

Hello Brothers! My name is Lester Piri, a 2019 Gamma Psi initiate. I am a P2 student at Mercer University. I was born in Huntsville, AL and attended The Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University where I majored in Chemistry with a minor in Biology. 

The story of finding the love for pharmacy was actually an accident (HAHA). In 2016, I was a Co-op  for Alabama Power Company as a laboratory analyst during my senior year. During my summer off-block of my rotations there, I received a technician job offer working for a long-term care pharmacy on-site of a large assisted living/rehab/hospice facility. During that summer, I found a deep love for pharmacy and wanted to pursue pharmacy as a career. 

During my first week of school at Mercer, the first Brother I had a conversation with was with Willam Webb (who is now the Satrap). His Brothers and himself helped me feel welcome and exposed me to Kappa Psi. This beloved fraternity helped me feel at home instantly. I am glad I have been given the opportunity to become part of this sacred Fold. I am honored to be the Pledgemaster for my chapter and the Historian for my Province. 

A few hobbies that I enjoy are music. I love all genres of music. I play the trombone and piano. I marched in the marching band at my undergrad for 3 years. I have a twin brother and an older brother. I like to go to live concerts, hang out with my friends, and discover new songs on Spotify. I also have a pet snake named Medusa!
