Q: Why did you choose pharmacy?

A: I chose pharmacy because I wanted to help others and had an obsession with how drugs worked since a very young age. I also wondered how someone so simple such as an aspirin is able to save peoples lives.

Q: Why did you choose Kappa Psi?

A: I chose Kappa Psi to become part of a family. My family doesn’t live near me at school so Kappa Psi was a way to meet like-minded individuals who enjoyed the same things I did. Every moment spent with brothers of Kappa Psi is an amazing reassurance of why I made the right choice.

Q: What are your future plans?

A: My future plans are to pursue a residency as well as looking into the field of infectious diseases.

Q: Tell us a fun fact about yourself.

A: Some fun facts about me are that I really love chipotle and I have an amazing skillful ability at ping-pong.

Q: How has Kappa Psi positively influenced your life and/or career?

A: Kappa Psi has brought me closer to so many individuals within and outside the field of pharmacy. I have met people that I didn’t think I would ever meet and created some of the most amazing outstanding relationships. I have learned how to be confident and driven within our field and the brothers of Kappa Psi have shown me most importantly what it is like to have super close friends that are always there to help.

Q: What inspired or motivated you to begin the activities for which you are being recognized?

A: My parents are the huge driving force behind me. Not once have they ever doubted me. I told them that I wanted a challenge in life and I wanted to be the best I could be since I could never be as amazing as them. So, everyday I push myself out of my comfort zone to impress them and show appreciation for how they raised me.

Q: Did you face any challenges along the way? If so, how did you overcome them?

A: I faced plenty of challenges. Whether it was a bad grade in undergrad or a roommate who had bad habits. I faced ups and downs that made me who I am today. I simply overcame them by being positive and knowing that in the end everything would work out.
